Since childhood, I had a dream — to learn how to draw.

Gouache was my favorite paint in elementary school, tastes have changed over the years, watercolor has replaced gouache.
Now I love oil paints, watercolor designs for embroidery and fabric paints.

My dream has come true, now I paint, but not on paper, but on fabric. I hope you enjoy it!

How was this project born?

In 2017, I quit my job and created brand “На траве».

"На траве" is a long road in five years with joys, sorrows, doubts and worries.

With constant learning, striving to become better, more professional, with good and bad perfectionism. If I were asked now what I would like to change at the beginning of the journey, to do differently, I would say – nothing!

"На траве" is an atmosphere of charming antiquity in various collections of embroidery for vintage, primitive and other very diverse embroidery.

"На траве" are fabrics for both uncomplicated designs and refined projects.

When I conceived this project, my goal was not just to paint and sell. My goal was to create a brand, a recognizable brand in the world of embroidery. Yes, it may be sound presumptuous, but now, after a while, I think I succeeded.

"На траве" is not only a unique fabrics for embroidery, but also a hand-dyed threads (DMC, Anchor, Gamma, PNC Kirov).

Multicolors for stitches and elegant projects of self-selection and muted, dusty shades for primitives, samplers, quakers.

If you pick up two cuts: one hand-dyed, and the second factory-made, you will immediately feel the enormous difference between them.

Often, among factory fabrics, we cannot find that one, unique fabric, which we have been trying to find for a long time for our most desired embroidery.

The count is not the same, it is not available, but, most importantly, there is no semitone, that elusive color wet earth or an evening ray of the sun breaking through the yellowed autumn foliage, the color that will make your work unique and inimitable.

The hand-dyed fabric is so atmospheric that, sometimes, it does not fit every design of embroidery. Sometimes it can't be washed, but this sacrifice will more than pay off with a perfect tandem "basis + design".
